How We Work

We manage the process. We verify the result. We report to you on both.

Our position on your project

Independence is the product

CMC is appointed to assist you. Every contract runs from you, and CMC holds no commercial relationship with any party it supervises. That independence is what lets us measure, review, report and administer impartially.

01

Measure

We certify only what we have measured ourselves

02

Review

We judge drawings we did not author

03

Report

We tell you what we find

04

Administer

We hold the contract impartially

On most construction projects, every party is engaged under arrangements whose interests do not align with the client's. CMC is the exception: our sole commercial interest is aligned with yours.
Our position on your project
The team we field

One project manager. A full bench behind them.

You deal with one project manager — your single point of accountability. Behind that person sits a set of specialists, scaled to the project: design manager, quantity surveyor, scheduler, site supervisor, QA/QC manager, HSE officer, document controller and contract administrator.

What lands on your desk

Reporting that arrives on a cycle, not on request

01

Daily

Site report — weather, headcount, works performed, photographs, safety incidents

02

Weekly

Progress report — works completed, problems and risks with recommendations

03

Each cycle

Variance analysis and critical path — where the project is against plan, in time and cost

04

Monthly

Management report — major works, risks, programme status, financial analysis

05

At milestones

Payment certificates, change records, inspection records — registered and dated

How your money is controlled

Every payment certified against measured quantities

01

Contractor applies

A valuation is submitted

02

We measure independently

Quantities taken from the drawings and on site

03

We verify

The application checked against our measurement

04

We certify

Signed by the PM, countersigned by finance

05

You pay

Against a certificate, not an application

06

We forecast

Cash flow and budget updated for the next period

How quality is verified

The four material gates

01

Material approval

Certificates, data sheets and samples — approval precedes purchase

02

Material on site

Delivery checked against what was approved — approval precedes use

03

Inspection after installation

Method, dimension and location — inspection precedes covering up

04

Test & commissioning

Systems tested individually and together, witnessed and recorded

The standards we work to

Five frameworks, reconciled at the outset

Georgian technical norms

We record which standard governs each discipline

FIDIC

We fix book, edition and particular conditions first

RIBA

We reconcile design stages with your payment milestones

RICS

We set the measurement basis in the tender

ISO 9001 · 45001 · 14001
